“Untitled #527” is a self-portrait created during one of the darkest periods of my life, as my sibling was passing away. The image reflects a moment of emotional exhaustion, confusion, and grief — the feeling of trying to hold yourself together while everything inside is falling apart.
The title refers to room 527, the dorm room where we once lived together during a much happier time - linking this moment of loss with a memory of love, closeness, and a life once shared.
